As a minority-owned, woman-run business we are proud to work with and expand the diversity spend objectives of our clients and partners. Additionally, our diversity initiatives – mentorship program, Diversity Leadership Council, and Diversity Champion awards – all seek to attract diversity spend ecosystem participants, foster strong relationships in the diversity community, and help make it easier to better serve the ever-changing needs of our customer base.

OUR DIVERSITY LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

Our Diversity Leadership Council consists of VMS, MSP, technology partners, and suppliers who share our passion for expanding diversity spend to not just satisfy a percentage (%) of spend goal or mandate, but rather we view diversity spend as a strategic opportunity for clients to optimize their workforce. Supported by our executive team, our Diversity Leadership Council is a primary channel of guidance for how Simplify Workforce’s go-to-market, implementation, and tech strategies will operate and maximize diversity spend for our clients.

SIMPLIFY WORKFORCE DIVERSITY MENTOR PROGRAM

Through Simplify Workforce’s mentor program, special tools and resources will be made available to diverse businesses, partners, and clients. This includes access to job boards, talent pools, other IT tools, and access to background checking services. Our mentoring program encourages the creation of a workplace environment that is inclusive and collaborative. Through mentoring relationships, workers are able to gain insight, advice, tips, and support through company leaders and experts. This collaborative flow of information helps to transfer knowledge and expertise, creating an equal opportunity environment and optimize the workforce.

COLLABORATING TO ACHIEVE DIVERSITY SPEND

We will work closely with your diversity business development group. Whenever a business is tagged as a “diversity certified” business in the VMS system, the MSP or in-house program coordinator can then further engage and evaluate the provider by giving them opportunities to demonstrate their capabilities for both national and international scale contingent workforce contracts. We’ll work side-by-side to ensure that your near- and long-term diversity spend goals are achieved, expanded, that results are transparent, and that ongoing program optimization remains a strategic pillar.

Simplify Workforce is an active member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and will work with any local chapter to solicit participation by diverse businesses.

SUPPORTING DIVERSITY MANAGEMENT

Our proprietary contingent workforce solution, Simplify VMS, makes it easier for you to achieve your diversity goals by providing visibility into corporate diversity spend while automating much of the workflow of non-employee labor acquisition across the organization. Simplify VMS’ diversity module ensures that diversity spend is tracked by category, such as minority, woman-owned, locally-owned, LGBT-owned, disadvantaged business enterprise, veteran-owned, etc. The system supports forecasting of diversity spend compared to diversity targets as well, which helps maintain transparency over long-term diversity spend initiatives. Additionally, suppliers can be ranked to indicate the most effective diversity suppliers, and thresholds may be set to automatically move suppliers between different classifications based on their overall performance.

TIER 1. VMS

The vendor management system (VMS) or technology partner whose software you use to run your organization, and is classified as meeting the qualifications of being a diverse company. Simplify Workforce is a minority-owned, woman-run, organization and actively seeks out MSPs and other tier 1 providers who meet the qualifying criteria of providing diversity spend well.

TIER 2. SUPPLIERS

These parties are indirectly tied to your business but play an essential role in optimizing your workforce. They meet the criteria necessary to be assigned a diversity classification. Tier 2 providers can also manifest themselves as third-party (i.e., bolt-on) technologies that are modularized within Simplify’s solution suite. Conversely, Simplify VMS could be a bolt-on to an existing VMS and, in this capacity, provide you with tier 2 exposure as well.

By having multiple tiers of diversity spend, our client and partners are able to compound their diversity dollars in a variety of unique and beneficial ways.
